Good to know before you pack

Every policy the front desk gets asked about, gathered in one place: who can reserve, what to bring to check-in, which rooms face the bay, and what the lodge does not offer. If you are still choosing where to sleep, start with rooms and suites; for the pool, beach and Main Lodge, see amenities.

Booking and check-in

What the front desk asks for at the door, and when the room is yours.

A reservation requires that you are 21 or older and hold a valid credit card.

Only the reservation holder can check in. Bring a valid photo ID, the same credit card used to reserve, and payment in full.

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:30 AM. Guest services is staffed 24 hours a day in the Main Lodge lobby, so someone is at the desk whenever you arrive.

It varies by rate type and by the platform you booked through. Your confirmation email spells out the terms for your reservation. Booking direct carries Best Rate Guaranteed, and cancellations, modifications and upgrades may not be available through third-party sites.

Yes. The lodge takes room blocks for teams, reunions and retreats, and has meeting space for up to 50 people. Write to sales@tamaracklodgetc.com to start.

Rooms and views

How to read a room name, and what every hotel room comes with.

If the room type name includes the word Lakeview, the room or suite has a lake view. That covers the Lakeview Walkout and Balcony rooms and the Lakeview one, two and three bedroom suites.

No. Not every room has a lake view. The Standard Room and the ADA Accessible King Room are on the south side of the building with city views.

An electric fireplace, an HD TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, and access to every resort amenity. All rooms and suites are smoke-free and not pet-friendly.

Yes. The lodge is family-owned, and over 200 families make up the Tamarack Lodge Condominium Association, which owns the condominium suites.

Pool, beach and amenities

Hours for the wet rooms, and the one thing the beach does not have.

The indoor pool, hot tub and sauna are open daily from 8 AM to 10 PM.

No. There is no lifeguard at the pool or at the beach, so children need an adult with them at the water.

No. The amenities are exclusive to registered guests.

Chairs, tables, chaise lounges, umbrellas and towels are complimentary and first come, first served.

Parking, pets and what we do not offer

The short list of no's, so nothing surprises you in the lot.

Yes. Parking is complimentary, with one space per room, unit or suite. RVs, trailers and oversized vehicles do not fit.

No. There is no trailer, boat or jet-ski parking and no boat launch. The lodge recommends TC Watersports for time on the water.

No. The lodge is 100% pet-free.

No. The lodge is 100% smoke-free, and that includes vaping, e-cigarettes and marijuana.

No. The lodge does not offer cribs, pack-and-plays or roll-away beds. The lodge suggests babyquip.com for baby gear.

No. The lodge does not host weddings, but wedding guest room blocks are available. Write to sales@tamaracklodgetc.com.
