Four Lakeview suites

Condominium suites, sized to your party

One, two or three bedrooms apart from the living room, each with a private balcony over East Grand Traverse Bay and a washer and dryer in the unit. Pick the bedroom count first and the rest follows.

Count the bedrooms

Sizing a suite to who is coming

Every suite has a king in each bedroom and a sofa sleeper, so the bedroom count is the number to watch. Couples and small families fit the one bedroom suites, two couples or a family fit the two bedroom, and a larger group fits the three bedroom with its three bathrooms. If the name includes the word Lakeview, it has a lake view, and all four of these do.

One bedroom, extra privacy

Lakeview One Bedroom Corner Suite

The corner gives you added privacy and panoramic bay views along the west-facing shoreline, which is where the sunsets land. The bedroom is private, with a king bed, and the living room adds a sofa sleeper.

  • Private bedroom with a king bed and a sofa sleeper
  • Private balcony on the bay
  • Walk-in shower
  • Washer and dryer in the unit
  • Kitchen with a two-burner cooktop and no oven
  • TVs in the living room and the bedroom

One bedroom, couples and families

Lakeview One Bedroom Suite

A one bedroom suite overlooking the bay, built for couples and for families that want a door between the bedroom and the living room. The bath is a shower-tub combination with jets, so a long soak after a day on the beach is on the table.

  • King bed in the bedroom and a sofa sleeper
  • Private balcony overlooking the bay
  • Shower-tub combination with jets
  • Washer and dryer in the unit
  • Kitchen with a two-burner cooktop and no oven

Two bedrooms, two kings

Lakeview Two Bedroom Suite

Two private bedrooms, each with its own king, plus a sofa sleeper: the sizing that works for two couples or a family that does not want to share a wall. This is the first suite with a fully furnished kitchen.

  • Two private bedrooms, a king in each
  • Sofa sleeper in the living room
  • Private balcony
  • Fully furnished kitchen
  • Washer and dryer in the unit
  • TVs in the living room and both bedrooms

The largest suite at the lodge

Lakeview Three Bedroom Suite

Three private bedrooms, a king in each, and three private bathrooms, so nobody queues for a shower. It carries the fully furnished kitchen of the two bedroom suite and a private balcony over the bay.

  • Three private bedrooms with a king in each
  • Three private bathrooms
  • Sofa sleeper in the living room
  • Fully furnished kitchen and a washer and dryer
  • Private balcony

Plan the groceries

The kitchen truth

The two one bedroom suites, the Corner and the standard, cook on a two-burner cooktop and have no oven. The two and three bedroom suites have fully furnished kitchens. That is the one difference that changes what you pack: skillet meals and a coffee routine for the small suites, a real dinner for the big ones.

Outdoor grills line the beach if you would rather cook on the shore, and the Main Lodge pours coffee, tea and hot chocolate around the clock.

Whose suite it is

Privately owned, open for nightly stays

The 29 condominium suites belong to families in the lodge's condominium association, and you can book them by the night like any other room. If you would rather own a share, fractional and fixed-week ownership runs from one to six weeks a year; the fractional ownership page walks through it, and ownership sales answer at (231) 883-1361.

★★★★★

“Excellent, we got a 2 bedroom suite in the off season. Gorgeous view of the bay. Cabin kind of feel with wood trim and fireplace. Loved the soaker tub next to the bed. Full kitchen and very large suite.”
